Collaborate is a new feature on the SDRN website. It is designed to support greater collaboration within the sustainable development research community.

When registering, users create a researcher profile which lists their area(s) of work or interests, their location and other relevant information they wish to share. Once registered, users of the facility can view the profiles of other members, search the database of researcher profiles to find others working in the same area (either geographically or by topic) and contact other registered users via a secure internal emailing system.

It is hoped the facility will encourage wider information sharing between Network members and will facilitate collaboration, encouraging the establishment of research consortia and aiding joint responses to calls for research.

The Collaborate feature is a user-moderated system. This means means that anyone is free to use the facility and that users are requested to report any misuse. SDRN reserves the right to remove the profile of anyone deemed to be misusing the facility. For more information about how SDRN uses information provided by users, see our Privacy Policy.
