Panel Discussion: Sustainable Fashion

By Robert Lyons on 29th November 2017
Date and Time:
Thursday, December 7, 2017 - 18:00 to 20:00

Sustainable fashion, also called eco fashion, is a part of the growing design philosophy and trend of sustainability, the goal of which is to create a system which can be supported indefinitely in terms of human impact on the environment and social responsibility. It can be seen as an alternative trend against fast fashion.

UCLU Retail and Luxury Goods Society is very excited to host a panel discussion on sustainable fashion with Tamsin Lejeune (Managing Director & Founder of the Ethical Fashion Forum, author of 'Can Fashion be Fair?', initiator of a fair trade supply chain for designer women wear in Bangladesh), Olivia Pinnock (fashion writer, lecturer and Founder of The Fashion Debates) and Adriana Restrepo (Colombian fashion designer, London College of Fashion Graduate with Merit).
