About the advisory committee
The SDRN Advisory Committee meets three times a year to discuss and advise on the Network’s Activities. The Committee has around 15 core members who are selected to provide coverage and strategic advice on the government’s main policy and research priorities for sustainable development. Members are drawn from backgrounds in policy-making, research and academia, government agencies and other relevant organisations.

- Advise on the strategic priorities and content of the Network’s work programme, including its project work, Annual Sustainable Development Research Conference, and seminar and lecture series
- In order to deliver the government’s objectives for sustainable development, it will make recommendations to relevant bodies concerning
- The better use of research and evidence in policy making; and
Gaps and opportunities that should be addressed through changes in the priorities and practices of research funding agencies. - Promote collaboration and the engagement of policymakers, the research community and other relevant stakeholders with the Network

- Assist the Coordinating Team and SDU with the evaluation of the Network’s activities.
